The current list includes Rare Breed and Canadian bred Chickens such as Bresse and White Chantecler, Artisan Gold Heritage turkeys, call ducks, Ancona, Pekin, Large Breed Geese like Embden, Guinea Fowl, Tennessee Red and Jumbo White Quail, Chukar Partridge, and coming additions for the next seasons.

Check the breed listings for savings on quantity hatching eggs.
For some offerings, started birds that are 1 to 4 weeks old, you will get 11 for the price of 10.
Subject to availability and date if available before being sold out.
Please note that some breeds, especially rare ones when offered , are very limited for supply. Best to reserve early.

After a good number of years at my current location and going into partial retirement from other employment it is time to expand my interests with QT Birds.
The goal is to keep the current breeds of interest and breeding programs to purposeful and attractive additions to benefit as a local specialty poultry source.
The Farm location with its original 'Propagator' has been ongoing for over 35 years in the heart of the agricultural area of Rainy River District Northwestern Ontario.
What is new now is that our presence is online with our site as of March 15, 2023.
Acquiring 2 large incubators and a hatcher into our converted shop will be an important step toward the QT bird farm future that is building on the quality of the past. We look forward to keeping on this most interesting path.

QT Bird Farm is located near Ft. Frances, Ontario. It is about 3 hours pleasant drive through beautiful and scenic Northwestern Ontario west of Thunder Bay or eastern Manitoba.
In the interest of biosecurity and limited time available away from farm duties, NO Tour vists of the farm are offered.
PICKUP OF BIRDS OR EGGS AT THE FARM ENTRANCE ONLY BY PREARRANGED APPOINTMENT DATE.
PAYMENT prearranged by e transfer or cash at farm gate pickups ONLY.
SHIPPING OF HATCHING EGGS is by Canada Post 3 to 5 day priority or expedited shipping. Once we have your postal code, an email response back to you will estimate the extra shipping cost.
NO SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF CANADA.

Our own farm incubator hatches are excellent. As to your own incubation, we do our best to send fresh fertile eggs collected within 4 days of shipping. There is no extra charge for careful packaging on our end.
